We have believe we have corrected the two reported problems with the Map view which were investigating.

The first problem was that the mapview was not coming up

The second problem is that the mapview worked but started to return an error code, particularly if the 3d view was used.

If anyone continues to have the same problems or a different problem then, as always, please  contact us.

Thank you.

Update 24th April

We have undertaken some behind the scenes modifications to trafficeye which we hope will cure the problems mentioned above. These include speeding up the initial loading of the service and some code changes including changes to the 3d service.

I will be testing the 3d service over the next week and will report back. In the meantime please let me know if you continue to have any problems with trafficeye.

In some cases you may need to clear your cookies to get trafficeye working  to do this in Internet Explorer you need to exit trafficeye and and go to tools - Internet options - delete browsing history - delete cookies - then go back and try trafficeye again, hopefully it should now work ok :-)

Thanks for support and your patience

Update 20th April

We are continuing our work into resolving the two issues identified above and we will be implementing some minor changes in the background  in the near future, which we hope will stop the problems all together.

If you have a problem with the service we have found that by deleting cookies it can usually bring the service back. If you have time to do this then it takes about a minute and you need to exit trafficeye, but stay in your browser, and go to tools - Internet options - delete browsing history - delete cookies - then go back and try trafficeye again, hopefully it should now work ok :-)

Thanks for you patience and support.

Update 18th April

12 customers have now reported faults 1 and 2 above.

Whilst this a very small percentage of our total customers we

are working hard to find the cause which we think, is either in the Map

control supplied by Microsoft or caching by the ISP's.  For those

customers who have reported a problem many thanks for bringing it to our

attention and thank you for your patience.

We will contact you all when we have something concrete to let you know.

Thanks

Chris Cook
